● LE PTIT PRESSE IN PICTURES
Committed to an ethical and sustainable approach, Kaviari gives a second life to its caviar tins. In collaboration with the artist Thomar, she created “le Ptit pressé”: caviar tins, recovered after use, are compressed together to form a paperweight, an original sculpture or a decorative object…
Now it’s your turn! Reuse the cord to make a pretty bracelet. Turn the cotton bag into a pouch or planter. With recycling, you can have infinite fun while preserving the planet.
1 . The company selects suppliers involved in sustainable farming or fishing processes, using sensible methods.
2 . We are committed to a virtuous circle of zero-carbon objectives in order to reduce the impact of our activity on the environment. We rely on the expertise of the Good Planet Foundation, a partner in our approach, to carry out our carbon footprint, reduce our CO2 emissions and offset them.
3 . Our teams also improve packaging through eco-design, and integrate into their daily work methods that successfully meet our customers’ expectations and environmental challenges.
4 . Waste reduction and treatment are at the heart of our concerns. We value our salmon skins thanks to a tanner craftsman from the Bassin d’Arcachon who transforms them into leather by a 100% vegetable tanning. We sort non-hazardous industrial waste (Suez) and cardboard (Paprec). Our food waste from the Kaviari factory and laboratory is recycled by Bionerval into biogas or compost.
5 . We assert our social and human responsibility through civic projects: il Refettorio, Clean Up Day, Climate Walks… all our actions are geared towards these dynamics.
