Commitments to the Planet
From farming to distribution, Kaviari is committed every day to protecting the planet through carefully selected partners and concrete actions.
Environmental responsibility is therefore a matter of accountability — expressed through both visible and behind-the-scenes initiatives, from close collaboration with breeders and eco-conscious partners to everyday practices within our boutiques, where reducing waste and prioritising recycling remain essential commitments.
A Few Examples
Of Sustainable Actions
1
A carefully selected network of farmers who adhere to sustainable aquaculture and fishing practices, with a strong commitment to animal welfare.
2
A reduction and offsetting of CO₂ emissions, supported by the expertise of the GoodPlanet Foundation.
3
A reduction and responsible management of waste, through the sorting of industrial waste (SUEZ) and paper and cardboard (Paprec), as well as the recovery of food waste (SARIA), including salmon skins.
4
Daily actions in favour of recycling and against waste: eco-design of products and services, such as eco-responsible dry cleaning or bicycle delivery, as well as the use of reusable bottles, transport flow optimisation, and the collection and recycling of caviar tins…
5
A strong social and human commitment expressed through civic initiatives: the Refettorio, the GoodPlanet Calendar, World Cleanup Day, the Climate March…
Preserving ecological balance by driving lasting behavioural change is a mission and responsibility deeply shared by the entire Kaviari team. An eco-optimistic mindset, rooted in the very nature of this committed caviar house.
Le Ptit Pressé in Pictures!
Committed to an ethical and sustainable approach, Kaviari gives its caviar tins a second life. In collaboration with the artist Thomar, the Maison created the P'tit Pressé: used caviar tins are collected and compressed together to become paperweights, original sculptures, or decorative objects.
The creativity doesn't stop there. Reuse the cord to make an elegant bracelet, or transform the cotton pouch into a small storage bag or a plant pot cover. With a little imagination, these everyday objects can be reinvented endlessly—giving them a new purpose while helping to preserve our planet.
